More Last Liner Success!

Hard on the heels of Jamie Sneddon's trophy win in Ireland with Hearts 1997 squad, we have further news of Last Line goalkeeper success in the Emerald Isle. Last month, Chris Binnie went to Galway with Aberdeen's 1994 squad to take part in an international tournament including sides from Leicester City, Fulham, Ipswich Town, Sunderland and the Republic of Ireland's own national squad. There was also competition from sides who had travelled from as far afield as Norway and Mexico.

The side representing the Pittodrie club were to have a successful tournament and reached the final day of the competition with a Cup Final against Republic of Ireland (1994 squad) to look forward to. Chris played the whole of the Final, keeping a clean sheet and making a handful of important and impressive saves to give Aberdeen the opportunity to press home a one goal advantage, winning the trophy courtesy of a hard fought 1-0 Final win.

Congratulations and well done to Chris!

Manager of the Month - August 2009

For those who didn't know, we are running our very own Fantasy Football League for LL keepers (and coaches!).

Each month we award one player the coveted 'Manager of the Month' award for their efforts. There are 26 players, so it is no easy task!

This week's winner is...Coach John!

John has shown that age doesn't play a factor in the battle for managerial success, scoring a fantastic 202 points.

Check out the how the top 5 shape up heading into September -

With 26 competitors, it is sure to change over September. Be sure to check back regularly for updates!
